Write a Letter. Change a Life.

One of the things I am passionate about is leveraging what God has given me for the least of these. A dream came true last month when we were able to see close to 400 children receive sponsorship through Compassion International over 1 weekend of the God of the Underdogs series at Next Level Church.

To read a story from the weekend, go here.

I am so thankful and proud of so many of you who are leveraging what you have to impact a child somewhere else in the world. The support and the letters we write and the words we say mean more than we can know.

However, I realize that if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably been frozen in your tracks when it comes to writing a letter to your compassion child. I know there are so many times when I think, “I don’t know what to write about?” or “What do I say?”

I have learned that the true power of sponsorship is NOT the money we give each month, it’s the WORDS we say over time that shape the spirit and life of the child you sponsor.

Below are 16 “Letter Starters” for your Compassion Child letters. This is, of course, not an exhaustive list but hopefully it will inspire you to write your child this week,

And now, Compassion Int’l makes it easier than ever through their website! No excuses! Our kids need to hear our words!

Write a letter, shape a spirit, change a life!
