What's a Leader to do with All These Frustrations?!?

Here’s an exercise I heard recently:
(I wish I knew who this was from so I could give them the credit… Sorry man or woman.)

Write down everything that is ticking you off, bothering you, annoying you and that you’re worried about right now. Then, for 15 minutes, fret about it, whine about it, get mad about it and worry like crazy about it. After that… Go about your day as normal.

Pretending frustrations don’t exist only makes us hold on to them. Actually voicing them, putting them somewhere (on a sheet of paper) and then moving past them actually lets us move past them.

Try it.
