The Jury is In… and the Verdict is…
So after 8 days of deliberating and hearing the evidence from all of “ya’ll” (I was in Texas last weekend) I have decided to CONTINUE with the Blog in 2009. But I think some modifications are in order, and as a good American, I want all of you to weigh in and help me decide what direction we should tailor the content:
3 Choices Include:
1. Random Personal Funny Stuff.
2. Leadership Insights I’m learning.
3. Random Church Stuff.
Of course this list isn’t exhaustive, but I want to make sure that I’m adding the most value to your lives with the time you’re willing to dedicate to the reading of the blog.
Thanks for helping me Modify the Digital Extension of MWK to the world,
Matt
All Of The Above! My prayer is that God continues to anoint Next Level leadership to move in amazing ways, to reach lost people of not just SW Florida, but across the world, and to be a beaming example of God's love – challenging us all to become everything God intended us to be, and more. My special prayer for Matt Keller, may God overflow into your life, providing you strength, love and vision for 2009.
I personally check it most for the Leadership Insights.
I agree!!! Whatever is on your heart that day. It's just you being you! That's why we read, foward, and talk about what you've written.
I'm so glad you've decided to continue! Just be sure to take care of yourself… If it's a couple of times per week- so be it. We know you're busy, we're just happy to hear from you!
Just surprise us with your own unique style and subject matter. Whatever is on your heart and what is relevent for equiping the disciples of Christ.
I agree with Tim. I think “random thoughts from Matt” are the best. They do not require you to continue a thought from day to day (or week to week) and should remove any pressure you feel to be structured about the blog. I trust that whatever you are promted to share, whenever you are promted to share it will reach out and touch those that are needing a word or encouragement, a laugh or simply to feel more connected to their pastor and their church. This should not become another burden or task that gets done out of perceived expectations. The frequency and content are less important than the touches. I look forward to growing with NLC in 2009!
God has blessed you with a great sense of humor and great leadership skills. I enjoy reading whatever you have on your mind. Thanks for keeping up the blog. I agree with Laura, take care of yourself and write when you get the chance. You are doing great job.
I’m so glad YA’LL are gonna to continue doing the blog—I’m not quite ready to start twittering, but I love the blog! I like all of the suggested topics, and I think a variety is nice. I love learning (maybe other topics besides just leadership) and it’s nice to hear the random funny and church stuff! Thanks for doing this–Susan
